Top Models at Balmain’s Fall 2016 PFW Show Slay in Sexy Wigs [PHOTOS]

During Balmains’s Fall 2016 show at Paris Fashion Week, something was definitely different about models such as Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and more. Despite French fashion house designer Olivier Rousteing opting for his models to wear a sleek pony look which they  had done the week prior to at London Fashion Week, the designer opted for an even edgier look during the show in his home country, and had all the run way models don on chic and sexy wigs that were definitely a departure from their signature locks.

Back on Mar.3 in Paris, Balmain head designer proved once again why hair can be a woman’s biggest accessory, whether its her own…or she’s simply wants to try a new look (wig) to vamp it up. Versus seeing Hadid’s and Dev Windsor’s golden tresses flowing on the runway, the supermodels slayed as a pair of dark beauties in brunette colored wigs which made their light eyes eyes pop.

At the other end of the spectrum, Hadid’s BFF Jenner channeled her favorite blonde bombshell rocking golden locks herself.

The inspiration behind Rousteing’s brain-child? According to reports, the fashion house was promoting their hair-care line where they offer extensions as well as styling tools for clients.

Looks like in addition to the rest of the world catching on to the trend of hairpieces, the world of high fashion is now “getting wiggy” with it too!
